George P. Kousaleos - George has taught the disciplines of Structural Integration, Myofascial Therapy and Sports Bodywork for the past 34 years. George trained in the Charter class of the SOMA Institute of Neuromuscular Integration n 1978-79 and taught SOMA Institute courses in the US and Germany from 1980 to 1989. He opened the CORE Institute with his wife Patty in 1990, and developed the advanced certification programs in the early 90's. George has been a member and officer of state and national massage therapy organizations, including the Florida Board of Massage Therapy (1986-1994), the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (1990-1992), and the Massage Therapy Foundation (1993-2000). He was the general Manager of the Sports Massage Team at the British Olympic Association's Preparation Camps for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. and he was a Co-Director of the International Sports Massage Team for the 2004 Athens Olympics. George was selected to the Charter Class of the Massage Hall of Fame and he has received numerous awards and honors from state, national and international massage associations, including the American Massage Therapy Association's President Award for his work on leading the development of the National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork.
